Privacy Policy

Who we are

StarBridge Financial Services LLP (LLP No. ADA-0034; AMFI ARN-373023; APMI APRN10508), 294, Ambika Puri Extension, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 452001, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.

What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number, the products you are interested in and anything you write in your message. The form on our Contact page does not send data to us directly; it opens your own email app, and we receive only what you choose to send.
• When you become a client: the details required for onboarding and KYC under SEBI, AMFI and KYC Registration Agency rules, such as your PAN, address, date of birth, bank details, nominee details and identity documents.
• When you visit the website: we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and font provider (Google Fonts) receive technical data such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver and secure the website.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiries and arrange conversations with you.
• To onboard you, complete KYC and process transactions you ask us to facilitate.
• To service your investments, including statements, updates and support.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including under the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002.

We use your personal data only for these purposes, with your consent or where the law permits it.

Who we share it with

We share your data only where needed to carry out what you have asked us to do, or where required by law. This may include asset management companies, portfolio managers, AIF managers, registrars and transfer agents (such as CAMS and KFintech), KYC Registration Agencies, stock exchange and transaction platforms, banks, and regulators or authorities. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes above, and for any longer period required by law (for example, record-keeping obligations under anti-money-laundering rules). After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We take reasonable security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, and limit access to those who need it to serve you.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your data, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations;
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out);
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and
• raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
